This Summer, RCC is going to be running a Festival with a difference!!
Every Thursday for 5 weeks, starting 28th July we will be running a series of bouldering, lead and top rope competitions. These will be run as a league format with the RCC Summer Festival Final being run on Saturday 3rd September to wrap things up. Throughout the evenings of the comps we will be having various shoes and other climbing gear companies giving demos to get you up to speed with all the latest and greatest gear available. The RCC Festival Final will include the final of the bouldering, lead and top rope comp, a on the night speed comp, the prize giving ceremony, free BBQ for all competition entrees and a gear demo from LYON including La Sportiva, Petzl and more to be confirmed…
This really is a series of events not to be missed. As always, spot prizes for each round, 1st, 2nd and 3rd final prizes and a mystery prize for one lucky regular comp attendee. Whether it’s your first comp, or you’re a regular comp attendee, you’re all in for a chance to win something. So get yourselves down and have a go!!!!
The comps will be split into 3 categories including Juniors (under 18’s), Female and Male Open…
We can also now confirm that Urban Rock, Mountain Equipment, DMM, La Sportiva, Petzl, Evolv and Metolius will be sponsoring and giving demos during the rounds meaning on the night prizes as well as overall league prizes!!!!
