John is our Managing Director. Drawing on a lifetime at the cutting edge of British climbing, and recognising the need for a climbing centre in Manchester, he opened MCC in 2005.
Having opened the excellent Harrogate Climbing Centre in February 2010, the opportunity to bring a top-class centre to the South of England was to great to pass up. As a result, he created Reading Climbing Centre, the premier climbing venue you can now enjoy!
When not at one of the three centres, John can usually be found out on the crags, climbing something hard!
