Had a 90 mins intro and really enjoyed it! Instructors were great and felt very safe - despite being quite high up in the air!
My son and his friends had an amazing experience learning to climb and playing games for his 7th Birthday Party. Instructors were enthusiastic, reassuring and great with the children. Would highly recommend the centre and all staff
One of our many visits to Reading Climbing Centre. This time so Jack could undertaker his junior competency test with Joe. Great experience with an excellent instructor. Great gym for rope climbs and boulders.
I took my kid age 4,6 &10 years olds to climbing. Kids loved all the challenges!!! And I had a tasty skinny latte in at the cafe.
Great intro to climbing session for my 8 and 9 year olds. They were given the equipment, shown what to do and had several climbs as part of a group in a 1.5 hour session which was well managed and gave them lots of confidence.
I’ve been meaning to try climbing out for ages and finally got around to booking an adult intro to climbing class with my friend. The instructor (I didn’t catch his name :() was great, super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the class was light and the instructor was reassuring and encouraging. It was also nice to meet other people taking the class, who were also really lovely! There’s a nice cafe upstairs with friendly staff and a shop (which I’ve not had a chance to check out). After taking the class I signed up for a stage 1 course and for the membership. Really recommend this place.
We were provided with climbing shoes and a harness at reception, enjoyed some snacks and drinks in the cafe upstairs and then were greeted by Clara who was supportive, relaxed and informative with our family of 4. During the 90 minute session, we were all able to scale several different walls of varying difficulties. The time passed really quickly. What a wonderful way to spend time as a family whilst getting a great overall workout and having so much fun. My husband and I would love to come back and learn the basics and attend a course so we can take the children ourselves. Thank you Reading Climbing Centre.
Great night on the ropes, instructor was great! if anyone wants to learn to belay you should definitely try out this class
